Drawing review steps

The order used to read a flange drawing before an inquiry is passed on for quotation.

Read the drawing in this order. Stop and ask when a line is missing or when the drawing and the email disagree.

Steps

Name the flange type from the outline.
Copy the standard number printed on the drawing.
Copy the size and the pressure class.
Copy the material and the facing.
Copy the quantity, and the destination if it is written.
Keep the drawing with the inquiry. Do not quote from the email text alone when a drawing is attached.
